In the vibrant tapestry of Marseille's streets, where the city's bustling energy sometimes overshadows its hidden charms, Rana at Odalys Hotel emerged as a beacon of light. Amidst the narratives often associated with Marseille, Rana's presence embodied a refreshing contrast. Her professionalism and multilingual prowess weren't just attributes; they were a testament to her unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. Picture this: amidst the labyrinthine alleys and bustling squares, I found myself in a predicament—a lost phone in a city known for its hustle and bustle. Enter Rana, whose warmth and efficiency were a breath of fresh air. Not only did she resolve my situation with ease, but she also provided invaluable multilingual assistance, navigating seamlessly through various languages to ensure clear communication. And so, amidst the bustling streets and lively markets, Odalys Hotel in Marseille shines brighter than ever, thanks to individuals like Rana, whose dedication and warmth truly make a world of difference. In Rana, I found not just a receptionist, but a guardian angel amidst the bustling energy of Marseille—a testament to the transformative power of exceptional hospitality.

Our stay at Odalys City was truly excellent. Since we arrived early, they stored our luggage in the luggage room without any extra charge. To get to the city center, we used the tram, which was a 4-minute walk away. It took us about 10 minutes to reach the center. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed and was extremely clean. The only issue I had with the hotel was the deposit fee they charged at check-in. It was higher than the cost of a one-night stay. Although it was mentioned in the email confirmation, it was written in such a small section that I didn't notice it.

The location is very nice. Different to the city center and other areas, I felt very safe and the streets were somehow cleaner and not as busy. The room was very well lightened, spacious and well ventilated. The space, meaning the building, was also quite quiet, so I was never really bothered by any loud noises. It also had a cute small kitchen where you could potentially prepare something to eat - of course nothing to make fancy meals but it works.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. Despite the small pool, which was the only minor downside, we managed to relax and enjoy the wonderful saunas. Unfortunately, I no longer remember the name of the lady who was very helpful to us. She was very kind, petite, wore glasses, and had short black hair. A wonderful woman

Hotel is made in very nice design, breakfast was great, we had cool view of port, but check in was crazy long, we waited more like 30 minutes, and every guest takes around 7-10 minutes just to check in, and I did not appreciate that we had to deposit some money on card in case we would not clean or damage something i really do not remember, that is not standard in hotels.
